The first weekend of HOUSEFULL 2 is over, and despite two powerful regional films, in East Punjab and Nizam (MIRZA - THE UNTOLD STORY and RACHA), and the IPL, the film has set the box-office on fire netting around 43 crores (to be validated) from India. In fact this is the best ever weekend for an Akshay Kumar starrer by many a crores!
In the overseas too the Sajid Khan directed flick is doing a roaring business by grossing $2.8 million, another best for Akshay.

In fact, the film has broken into the US top 10 (a rare phenomenon for Hindi cinema) by entering the charts at number 9 and grossing $847,132. In the UK, HOUSEFULL 2 has grossed £396,528, while the middle east has contributed a huge AED 2,960,000. The film has also done superbly in Australia and New Zealand.
As things stand today, and with quite a steady Monday, HOUSEFULL 2 is on way to a grand global success, how big only time will tell!
